The Nuova Simonelli “Musica” is an elegant and compact volumetric espresso machine, capable of delivering professional quality espresso, at a moment's notice. With its unique styling and versatile options, the Musica is sure to have something to offer every coffee enthusiast. As such, it is available in two versions: with direct attachment for connection to the available water supply, or with a reservoir tank (3L), lending the Musica the wonderful convenience of a “plug-and-play” option.

The Musica has a handy pressure gauge, for at-a-glance verification of pressure in the boiler tank (a great safety feature). Water temperature is stabilized by an efficient heat exchanger, located inside the boiler tank (insulated to save energy), which also guarantees that there is always a great amount of steam available for frothing milk.

The brewing group is thermo-compensated and includes a pre-infusion system that allows the coffee to be extracted to its fullest potential. The hot water nozzle can be programmed to provide set doses, so it is possible for the Musica to prepare different types of hot beverage, in just seconds. The professional filter holder features an ergonomic design, as does the practical cursor steam lever.

The Musica’s elegant button panel with backlit (adjustable brightness), soft-touch buttons also functions as an intuitive instrument panel, with indicator lights (“no water” and “heating element on”), which offer the barista complete control over the entire system. The volumetric dosing feature can store up to three different dose settings, providing convenient customization at the push of a button. Nuova Simonelli Standard Warranty:
2 Year Parts & Labor (limited to Manufacturer’s Defects in material or workmanship, only), with an additional lifetime warranty on copper espresso machine boilers for the life of the espresso machine.

 

NOTE: WATER REQUIREMENTS

The installation of a water softener is mandatory when the espresso machine is fed with water that has a hardness higher than 3 grains per gallon (gpg) or 50 parts per million (ppm). The pressure of the water line must be between 2 bar and 6 bar, and the water must be cold.

The water also must have a filtration level below 5.5 Micron, a total dissolved solids level between 50 and 250 ppm, an alkalinity level between 10 and 100 ppm, a chlorine level less than 0.25 ppm, and a pH level between 6.5 and 8.5.

MAINTAINING THE WATER AT THE REQUIRED LEVELS IS THE USER’S RESPONSIBILITY. FAILING TO MEET AND MAINTAIN THE WATER AT THESE LEVELS WILL VOID THE ENTIRE WARRANTY.
